There may be an end to the Jorginho to Manchester City saga. Hurrah!

After what’s felt like month of talks between the Premier League club and Napoli, Tuttomercatoweb report Monday should be the day it all gets sorted out for Pep Guardiola’s side.

Jorginho himself has agreed everything for a move to Manchester City and will sign a five year deal with the club as soon as his current club give him permission to do so.

The problem remains between City and Napoli. Everyone involved is working in good faith, if stubbornly and slowly, and the exact details on bonus payments remain to be resolved.

TMW say it’s a figure of €2.5m which is causing disagreement. The idea is Monday talks will bring the deal to a close and sort out those details.

It’s not mentioned by the Italian website, but given how the negotiations have been going it would be no surprise if there’s also disagreement on who pays the solidarity money to Jorginho’s former clubs.
