Despite claims from Bosnia, then jumped on by many others, that Sead Kolasinac had signed a contract to join Arsenal, the German press have repeatedly been insistent that’s not the case.
Even Kolasinac’s father denied any signed contract with Arsene Wenger’s side, or even an agreement made, and the longer time has gone on the likelier it’s seemed the claims were wide of the mark. Jumping the gun to appear to be first.
There’s still a lot of hope for Arsenal, with German newspaper Bild repeating constantly that they’re one of the likeliest destinations. Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have also been kept in the picture, and that’s the situation again from Bild on Friday.
They state that Schalke’s Kolasinac, who will be a free agent in the summer, would earn €140k per week at either Arsenal or Manchester City. AC Milan are still in the picture, but the footballer, who has been somewhat evolving his role to more advanced one, is said to feel he’d suit English football.
Kolasinac wants to decide his future between Sunday’s match against Freiburg, and Schalke’s match against Hamburg the following Saturday.
