It’s not only the Spanish media reporting Nicolas Otamendi’s wish to move from Manchester City to Valencia this summer.

Argentine outlet Olé also features a story claiming the defender is keen on returning to his old club for this new season.

It’s reported that Otamendi has the ‘feeling’ that he will no longer play for Manchester City, and his idea is to return to the place where he’s once been great.

Now that the player has managed to conquer a starting spot at the national team, it’s claimed he should ‘settle’ in the Spanish city, which is ‘his place in the world’.

Olé says that Manchester City have an agreement with the player to let him go, and that’s why they are already looking for a new defender.

But it’s agreed that Otamendi is only leaving if the club get a certain amount for him. So it should all depend on the Premier League side’s goodwill, especially because there are other offers from Europe for him.
