The Portuguese press continues to make it pretty clear that Marco Silva’s intention is to continue to work in the Premier League.

A couple of weeks ago, when the former Watford manager was linked to Benfica, local papers were quick on dismissing the news, claiming that the manager’s intention was never to return to his home country.

And now that Silva has been linked to West Ham United, the Lisbon media shows that this is a possibility which would suit him better.

Outlet A Bola takes claims from England to report West Ham’s interest. It’s been said that manager David Moyes could leave the club at the end of the season, and the Portuguese manager would be one of the candidates to replace him.

A Bola’s only exclusive information is that Silva has interest in continuing to work in the Premier League, and he has ‘several’ clubs interested in his services.

Basically, the story sounds like a message for West Ham. A bit like ‘I’m up for this, but there will be some competition to sign me’.
