Bursa based newspaper Olay report Bursaspor manager Samet Aybaba will have the final say over the transfer of Henri Saivet.
Earlier this week we covered reports from the Turkish press that Bursaspor have agreed to loan Saivet from Newcastle United, and now the paperwork is being drawn up.
Olay say Bursaspor have agreed personal terms with Saivet and the final decision will now be made by the Turkish club’s manager.
The Turkish club are also targeting Basaksehir’s Marcio Mossoro but if they can’t find an agreement for the Brazilian, then they’ll switch their attention to Saivet and finalise the deal.
Olay say Saivet is waiting for Aybaba’s answer over a potential transfer and previous reports claimed the Newcastle United midfielder is hoping to work with the Turkish coach again after their time at Sivasspor last season.
Saivet is under contract at Newcastle United until 2021, but he looks surplus to requirements under Rafa Benitez.
