Ronald Koeman was one of the managers who attended ‘III Acto de Homenaje a Johan Cruyff’, an event organised by the ‘Friends of Johan’ on Thursday.

The Barcelona legend was discussing football along with other coaches such as Belgium manager Roberto Martinez and former Spain boss Vicente Del Bosque.

A month ago, Koeman confirmed there’s a clause for him to leave his current job at the Dutch national team in case he gets an invite from the Camp Nou side in the summer.

And since today’s event was full of Barcelona fans, former club employees and widely covered by the Catalan press, Koeman knew the question was coming, and as reported by Mundo Deportivo, he was quick on talking about it.

“I am the coach of the Netherlands, I have to prepare for the Euro, but in life you never know what can happen,” said Koeman.

The rumours about Koeman’s arrival at Barcelona haven’t been so strong in the past few weeks, and given that Ernesto Valverde’s side has been in good form lately, it should take a while until we see this again.

But the Dutch manager continues to make sure to tease with the opportunity.
