Mohamed Salah has not stopped shining for Liverpool since he arrived at Anfield from AS Roma in 2017.
The forward has played an instrumental role in helping the Reds win silverware in the past few seasons, which includes the Champions League and their success in the Premier League.
Earlier this month, the 29-year-old reached a new milestone by scoring his 100th league goal in his side’s win over Leeds United.
While Jürgen Klopp’s star continues to shine on the pitch, his long-term future with the Merseyside club needs to be sorted out. The Egypt international’s contract runs down in 2023 and he is yet to sign an extension.
Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi, who arrived at the San Siro from Lazio, has seen the former Chelsea man close up when he was at Roma.
Al-Ain Sports interviewed the Serie A side’s coach, and he urged Salah to think hard before committing his long-term future to the English club.
“For me, Salah is one of the best players in the world. I watched him closely when I was in my early days as a coach for Lazio, and he was a player at Roma,” Inzaghi said.
“Mohamed Salah is a great player. My advice to him is to think with his heart before taking the next step, and to choose the best for himself.”
Inzaghi was quizzed about the Liverpool star after the Inter boss was asked to share his views on Manchester City’s Riyad Mahrez and Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech.
