Since taking charge of Flamengo, the most popular club in Brazil, Portuguese manager Jorge Jesus has become a star in South America.

With arguably the best squad in the country, the coach has been a requested man for interviews. That’s why Fox Sports are airing a chat between him on Saturday, and are already releasing some bits of it.

Jorge Jesus has spoken to Paulo Vinícius Coelho, one of the best journalists in Brazil, and ended up making some very interesting revelations in the interview.

“If it had been for the money, I could have stayed at Al Hilal. I could also have gone to clubs in England”, Jorge Jesus told Fox Sports.

Then according to the story on the website, PVC explains he’s been told by Jesus that the manager got an offer from Newcastle and could have replaced Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea.

“That’s what they told me”, Jorge Jesus told PVC.

It’s still not very clear if the information about Chelsea and Newcastle was told to Paulo Vinícius Coelho off air. That’s something we’ll have to see on Saturday.

This is a journalist whose credibility doesn’t need to be questioned, so either way, Jorge Jesus definitely told him that.
