Since the Argentine media broke the news regarding Edinson Cavani’s potential move to Boca Juniors, many people have been talking about it and getting five minutes of attention.

The latest to get involved is Talleres manager Alexander Medina, who apparently has some insight on the future of the Manchester United star.

Speaking to Radio Continental, he revealed the very good source he has to talk about Cavani’s chances of moving to the Buenos Aires side.

“I understand that there’s less left for him to come back,” Medina told Radio Continental (via TyC Sports).

“I’m good friends with Edinson’s brother. Cavani likes to be close to his city and his people. Setting a date would be rushed.”

Edinson Cavani has a contract with Manchester United until the end of the season, with an option to extend it for one year further.

The chance of arriving at La Bombonera for free is the reason why the operation seems possible, added to the player’s wish to return to South America and live closer to his family.

Cavani has scored seven goals since joining Manchester United at the start of the season, and despite showing satisfaction with his form, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still to make it clear if his contract will be extended.
