Aksam claim Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has rejected the chance to sign Stoke City forward Saido Berahino in this transfer window.

It’s reported intermediaries have presented Galatasaray board member Sukru Haznedaroglu the opportunity to sign the forward but Terim has decided against it because he wants to pursue other targets.

It’s been well documented the Turkish champions are in the market for a forward in this transfer window and the Stoke City player may have been an option. Cim Bom currently have no senior No.9s currently in their squad and want to address this before the deadline.

According to Aksam, the Turkish club are interested in signing Benjamin Tetteh from Sparta Prague and Midtjylland striker Paul Onuachu is also an option.

Berahino has been struggling for Stoke City in the Championship this season, with the 25 year old scoring just three goals.

The former West Bromwich Albion striker is under contract with the Potters until June 2022.
