According to Bein Sports Turkey, Besiktas manager Abdullah Avciis is set to rest key players when his side face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Turkish club have won their last six games in the Super Lig and are in great form after a terrible start to the season.
To maintain their title challenge, Bein Sports Turkey say Avci will rest the likes of Gokhan Gonul, Caner Erkin, Burak Yilmaz, Adem Ljajic, Atiba Hutchinson and Mohamed Elneny when they clash with Wolves at Molineux.
It’s reported the Black Eagles will field a weakened team against the Premier League side as their main focus is the upcoming league game against Yeni Malatyaspor on Sunday.
The Super Lig side can’t qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are currently 2nd in the group and are guaranteed qualification to the knockout stages of the competition.
However, they could top their group if they beat Besiktas and Bratislava pick up points against leaders Braga. Wolves beat Besiktas 1-0 in Istanbul earlier in the group stages.
