Following the many claims from Spain and Germany regarding Barcelona’s latest movements for the signing of Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, it’s now the Italian media who comes up to add more to it.

Recalling the long time interest from Juventus, outlet Calciomercato.it now features a story confirming that the Camp Nou side are indeed coming strong for the Blues’ player.

It’s now said Barcelona ‘can satisfy’ Rudiger’s economic demands with a contract of €8m per season, which is more than what he earns at Chelsea.

Calciomercato also claims that besides the money, the La Liga giants also have good arguments ‘on the sporting level’, especially with the presence of Xavi, from whom a phone call ‘may be enough’ to convince the player.

Now since Barcelona still don’t have an agreement with the Chelsea player, it’s pointed out that other clubs continue to be interested.

The website says Juventus can’t be taken for dead, while the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid remain interested as well.

Rudiger’s contract with Chelsea expires in a few months, and at this stage, it’s very unlikely he’d agree to stay at the Stamford Bridge, unless whoever the new owners end up being manage to convince him in time.
