Another hour, another update from Italy regarding Antonio Conte and his potential move to Tottenham.
That’s how it feels, at least, with every journalist and outlet under the sun trying to get in on the action, bringing their information along with them.
The latest to do so is Sport Italia’s Gianluigi Longari, who took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to explain ‘talks are continuing’ between the Italian manager and Tottenham, with an ‘economic distance’ still present in the talks.
That being said, everything is ‘going ahead’ as it should be, with Conte now taking the next step in his preparation to take over from Ryan Mason in London.

Longari reports the manager is ‘making in-depth assessments’ of the Tottenham squad, clearly trying to see if the group of players left behind by José Mourinho and Daniel Levy is what he wants to work with going forward.
Our bet is he’ll want to keep Harry Kane. That’s just a hunch.
