We know that the big question most Manchester United fans will be asking is what is being said in Italy about Antonio Conte and him potentially taking over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer?
Well, don’t you worry, we have you covered, as we look at the two main newspapers in the country, with those being Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport.
Starting with the first of the two, the outlet has a big double page spread on the situation, but most of it is covering what has been said in England of late, including claims that contact has been made from Manchester United’s end.
They, however, deny that, making it clear that ‘as of last night, there has been no official approach’.
While that isn’t what you probably want to hear, they do explain that, despite this, Conte would ‘naturally be ready to listen if faced with a call from the Red Devils’.
Corriere dello Sport have their own take on it, explaining the manager ‘doesn’t like taking over midway through the season, but such a rich and ambitious big player can make him change his mind’.
They offer very little else, mind, which suggests that not a lot has likely gone on behind the scenes, much like what Gazzetta are reporting.
It’s still early doors, and Solskjaer remains in the job, but rest assured that if any update comes our way from Italy regarding Conte and Manchester United, we’ve got you covered.
