Turkish newspaper Milliyet report Besiktas manager Sergen Yalcin will next week make a decision over Liverpool loanee Loris Karius after the derby game against Galatasaray.

The Black Eagles are currently sitting nine points behind league leaders Medipol Basaksehir and Yalcin believes their next two games will determine whether they will be in the title race or not.

It’s stated if Besiktas lose against Galatasaray next weekend, then Yalcin will drop Karius until the end of the season as he’s planning to give the Super Lig club’s young goalkeepers a chance to impress.

Utku Yuvakuran and Ersin Destanoglu are amongst the players that Yalcin is considering for selection if that happens, and if he takes such a route the Liverpool owned player is unlikely to play again for Besiktas.

Yalcin previously stated that he doesn’t expect the German to stay beyond this season and subsequently his two-year loan spell at Besiktas will come to an end in June.

It’s likely the 26 year old will need to find himself a new club for next season, as it seems he’s not in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

Karius’ contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of June 2021.
