Fanatik report Besiktas need to deal with another transfer situation after claims FC Porto and Wolverhampton Wanderers are keeping tabs on their central defender Pepe.

The 34 year old joined the Turkish side from Real Madrid on a free transfer last summer, but now he’s the subject of reported interest from Porto and Wolves. Fanatik say Besiktas currently value him at €7m.

The Portuguese central defender has a year left on his current Besiktas contract and Fanatik say, despite the interest from Wolves and Porto, Besiktas manager Senol Gunes wants to keep hold of the player.

Besiktas are likely to part ways with Domagoj Vida this summer with a number of Premier League clubs interested, and therefore Gunes wants to keep Pepe at the club.

The Istanbul club have already sold Matej Mitrovic and Dusko Tosic in this window.

According to Fanatik, Wolves are likely to knock on Besiktas’ door soon but the player may fancy a return to Portugal if he is allowed to leave.
