AS Roma manager Luciano Spalletti has told the Italian media West Ham’s Sofiane Feghouli can bring something to the club. The West Ham summer signing has been linked with a move to the Serie A side in recent weeks after a largely indifferent start to his time in England.
Calciomercato have reported on comments Spalletti made in his press conference in the lead up to this weekend’s Serie A games.
The Roma boss was asked about the possible signings of Feghouli and also Chelsea’s Charly Musonda. Spalletti confirmed he has been watching the two players and believes they could be beneficial to him.
Spalletti went on to say the Roma sporting director Frederic Massara will now work on getting the deals done: “I started watching Feghouli and Musonda to see if they can give us a hand and, on this, I say yes. Massara will work with regards to this,” said the AS Roma coach.
Feghouli signed for West Ham form Valencia in the last window, but has failed to make an impact since his arrival. Roma are keen to take the Algeria international on loan with a right of redemption.
