Fanatik claim Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal has given the green light to sign Norwich City defender Timm Klose.

The Turkish giants will look to sign a centre back this summer with Martin Skrtel and Roman Neustadter set to leave the club.

According to Fanatik, Yanal has been going through the scouting reports for the Norwich City player and believes the Swiss international could replace Skrtel.

It’s claimed Yanal has now told the Fenerbahce board they must sign Klose this summer and the defender’s contract situation makes him an ideal candidate for Yellow Canaries.

Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in players who will become free agents at the end of the season, due to FFP, and Klose fits this bill.

Norwich City are unlikely to offer Klose a new contract and the player looks certain to leave Carrow Road at the end of the season.

Scottish giants Rangers have also been linked with the player.
