Manchester United have lost four of their seven league games, leaving them sitting 10th in the table.
The Red Devils have also lost to Bayern Munich in the Champions League and their poor start to the season has obviously seen a lot of drama.
Even though there aren’t any immediate concerns for Erik ten Hag over his future at Old Trafford, Antonio Conte seems to be keeping an eye on the developments taking place at Manchester United.
That’s according to the 54-year-old’s former teammate, Fabrizio Ravanelli, who told Calciomercato.it’s TV Play that Conte is eyeing an important club soon.
“Conte is following what happens in the big teams: in Italy it’s Roma and Napoli, abroad also Manchester United who however intend to renew the contract to ten Hag. However, I believe that he will soon return to an important team,” Ravanelli said.
The Italian duo played together at Juventus during their player career and the comments made by the pundit send a mixed message about both Ten Hag and Manchester United.
It also wouldn’t make sense for the former Chelsea manager to follow Manchester United if they intend to offer a new deal to the Dutchman, and how Radrizzani would know that is unclear.
Him knowing what Conte wants makes much more sense.
Conte parted ways with Tottenham Hotspur back in March and hasn’t yet returned to the game.
On Monday, we covered claims made in Italy explaining that Roma could look at him if they decide to show the exit door to José Mourinho.
