Former Celtic manager Ronny Deila has taken second small shot at his former club in the space of a week, this time belittling the Scottish Premiership.
Sudinfo cover comments from the Club Brugge boss, who seems intent on having his say on his former club.
Deila joined Brugge in the summer after a successful spell at Standard Liege, where he had gone a long way to repairing his reputation after his unsuccessful spell at Celtic.
He was in charge of the Bhoys from 2013 to 2016, taking charge of 116 games and winning the Scottish Premiership in 2014/15 and 2015/16 as well as the Scottish Cup in 2014/15.
However, his time at the club is largely considered to have been a complete failure, and not one either side looks back on fondly.
Indeed, Deila has regularly spoken about his time at Celtic in the years since his departure, often not in the most flattering of terms.
That continued last week when he made something of a sly dig at Celtic and he’s continued that today by criticising the league they play in.
“I’m impressed by the win-at-all-costs mentality,” he said when asked what’s impressed him most since his arrival at Brugge.
“People often say that, but here there’s never any satisfaction after a win. This is a club that dreams and is ambitious.
“After a win, you want to move on to the next match as quickly as possible. In fact, you never feel absolute satisfaction.
“It was different at Celtic. When you start the league there, you have nine chances out of ten of winning it. Here, the challenge is much greater.”
