It seems Fulham may receive some calls for the transfer of Carlos Vinícius this summer.
According to Brazilian outlet Torcedores, Flamengo could move to sign the 28-year-old from the Whites.
The Rio de Janeiro side have just announced Jorge Sampaoli as their new manager, and the story says the coach has pinpointed the Fulham striker as one of his requested signings.
For now, there’s no information whether Flamengo have already made a move for the transfer, or if they’ll at least take that suggestion seriously.
Carlos Vinícius joined Fulham in a €5m move from Benfica last summer, and despite only having two goals for the Whites, he’s frequently seen in Marco Silva’s starting team, having 27 appearances this season so far.
Brazilian clubs are always unlikely to sign Premier League players on permanent moves, and at this stage, it sounds very difficult that the Craven Cottage side would accept letting the player go on any type of loan. So we should now wait and and see how Flamengo will deal with this request from their new manager.
