Richarlison played a key role in helping Everton avoid relegation from the Premier League, scoring six goals and registering two assists since the start of April.
Earlier this week, the forward revealed to have held talks with the Toffees board, Frank Lampard and his agent over what he wants this summer. Since then, he has been linked to a handful of clubs.
A new club has emerged as a contender for the 25-year-old. That club is Real Madrid as per El Chiringuito, relayed by Sport, who add that Carlo Ancelotti has ‘asked’ Los Blancos chairman Florentino Pérez to sign the Everton star.
The Italian knows the former Watford man very well from his time at Everton, and even wanted the Brazilian last summer, but the presence of Mariano and Luka Jović blocked a potential operation in 2021.
Neither have convinced the manager, though, and therefore, the latter sees Richarlison as a player who ‘fits into the team’ for the club’s attacking division next season.
It’s claimed that Real Madrid already approached Everton last summer to know the player’s price tag.
The Merseyside club had valued him at €100m and have now reduced it to €80m for this summer.
Richarlison isn’t the only forward on the list as Real Madrid are also looking at Benfica’s Darwin Núñez, RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku and AC Milan’s Rafael Leão.
