Manchester United and Tottenham could be set to do battle for Eintracht Frankfurt star Evan N’Dicka this summer.
That’s according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who says the French centre-back is ‘highly courted’ and both clubs are ‘following’ him.
N’Dicka has established himself as a key player for Frankfurt in the last few seasons but has stood out this season with a series of impressive performances in the Bundesliga and Europa League.
The latter competition was one that they won, of course, something that has only ramped up interest in him.
Newcastle United are known to be big admirers of the defender, but Hawkins says it is actually Manchester United and Tottenham who are following him.
Both clubs are on the hunt for defensive options this summer, with Manchester United’s defence a particular weak spot and Tottenham’s not quite where Antonio Conte would want it.
N’Dicka could be an option for both, and their chances of getting him will be boosted by recent reports that Frankfurt would be looking to sell this summer.
That makes a deal extremely possible, although it remains to be seen to what extent both sides are interested.
Evan Ndicka est très courtisé. Tottenham et ManU suivent le défenseur de Francfort, récent vainqueur de la Ligue Europa.
À Monaco, son nom revient avec insistance si Benoît Badiashile est transféré.
