Italian international Matteo Darmian has been facing an uncertain future at Manchester United, as he doesn’t seem to be in the José Mourinho’s plans.

Darmian has failed to make a single league appearance under Mourinho so far, and that has obviously led to the speculation of his leaving the club in January.

Inter are reportedly keen on signing him, and could be a possible destination for the 26-year-old.

According to Italian website Calciomercato, Darmian is a primary target for Inter, who are already working on his transfer.

Calciomercato say there have been new discussions between Inter and Manchester United over Darmian.

The Serie A club want to sign him on loan, with the option to make it permanent.

Inter reportedly even tried to sign Darmian last summer, and the player has already given the ‘green light’ to the move.

It’s reported Inter should soon make an offer to Manchester United, and try to agree a deal with the Premier League giants.

Inter are reportedly keen on signing young players and especially Italians, and Darmian could be the next one.
