Now that Antonio Candreva is officially an Inter Milan player, the search for Lazio’s next important right winger is more active than ever, and the names keep flying in.

Last week, we had Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha thrown into the mix randomly because why not, and a more realistic Adnan Januzaj link.

This week, Il Tempo have an update on the situation, and with Florian Thauvin now (pretty much) officially a Marseille player, they’re still looking.

You won’t be surprised to find out that Mr Zaha is no longer on Lazio’s wishlist (not because he isn’t good enough, but he doesn’t seem like the kind of player to move abroad just yet), while the Belgian Red Devil is.

The 21-year-old seems far from José Mourinho’s plans this season, and a move away could be beneficial for all parties, even if it just a loan for the time being.

However, it wouldn’t surprise us if clubs were skeptical about making a move for him considering how his loan at Dortmund last season went.

There’s still time for this to happen, and it seems unlikely Januzaj will be a United player next season.

It’s a case of wait and see for this one, sadly.
