According to an imaginative claim in the Spanish media, Manchester United have joined the race to sign Real Madrid star Isco.

The attacker has been linked with Manchester United’s local rivals Manchester City for some time, with Spain’s wilder rumour pushes dreaming up all kinds of transfer scenarios.

Don Balon have reported on the latest developments over Isco’s future at Real Madrid and claim Manchester United are ready to ‘throw the house out the window’ to beat Manchester City to the signing of the Spain international.

Earlier this week it claimed by the same publication Real Madrid could look to offload Isco and were interested in swap deal with Manchester City for Bernardo Silva.

However, it’s said Manchester United want to get ahead of their neighbours and are ready to offer Real Madrid €140m for Isco.

However, this contradicts reports made by Don Balon a few days ago after they claimed Real Madrid would listen to offers in the region of €80m for Isco. Subcequesntly it seems far fetched Manchester United would be willing to offer €60m more than the asking price.

But far fetched is what Don Balon specialise in.

It looks like the Spanish media outlet is playing Manchester United and Manchester City against each other to give the rumour a little more drama, something which has been happening for months across Europe with various players.
