We’re not sure if it’s a post transfer window tradition in Italy, but it seems each newspaper is going around Europe looking at who Serie A sides will be able to get on a free next summer.

The obvious one for Juventus here is Emre Can, and we’ve covered that time and time again, so we won’t do it again.

One that did catch our eye, however, is the mention of Daley Blind in a Gazetta dello Sport article, with the Dutchman a player Serie A sides will be keeping an eye on this year.

His deal at Old Trafford currently runs until 2018, and although he has played a lot more this season, mostly down the left, the 27-year-old has never come across as a José Mourinho favourite.

Just twenty-four starts last season at both left-back and centre-back make him more of a utility player than anything else, and it will be interesting to see how much Manchester United end up wanting to keep him.

Still, the Red Devils have never been a club who tend to let their first-team members leave on a free, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them activate the extra year in his contract, even if it to sell him next summer.

Nothing to worry about just now, but it’s one to keep an eye on, as we’re sure teams like Juventus or even Inter wouldn’t mind having a defensive midfielder capable of playing left-back or centre-back in their team.
