Greek website Sdna.Gr report Manchester United will send a scout to Greece to watch the Athens derby between AEK and PAOK, but it’s reported the English side won’t be the only club to watch the game.

According to the Greek media, French sides Rennes and Nice will also be present and their focus will be on AEK duo Vasilios Barkas and Marko Livaja.

Sdna haven’t reported on a particular target for Manchester United but they say the Premier League side ‘will follow the match’ between the two Greek heavyweights and ‘checkout’ the players.

Barkas is a Greek international who has been playing for AEK since 2016. The 25 year old is key player and is under contract with the club until June 2022.

26 year old Marko Livaja, who was once with Inter Milan, is also an important member of the AEK squad. The player has scored 17 league goals in 56 appearances for the Athens side since the start of the 2017-18 season.
