Italian outlet FC Inter News brings some interesting updates on the race for Leicester City loanee Islam Slimani today.
Following the player’s request to leave Monaco, there are several clubs who are said to be interested in his signing.
The website says it was first Manchester United who met his agent Luca Bascherini to speak about the possibilities of a transfer.
Inter Milan met a different agent, Frederico Pastorello, who’s also taking care of the striker’s future. The club told him about their wish to sign Slimani on a loan deal, with clauses for a permanent move still being discussed.
But these are not the only clubs who want the Algerian star. Tottenham are said be interested in him, as they look for a striker. with Olivier Giroud being an alternative option.
And in case the Spurs or even Lazio get the Chelsea striker, then it’s the Blues who could go after Slimani to replace him.
