Manchester United need a new centre-back.
Everyone can agree on that, but the big question remains whether or not to get an experienced one or continue forward with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plan, which is to revamp the squad with youth.
One of the options United have been following for a long time is Monaco’s Benoît Badiashile, who could be on his way out.
There have been previous reports of the Premier League club already being in talks with the principality side regarding a move, and those are ‘continuing’.
That’s what TF1 reporter Julien Maynard is claiming on Wednesday, stating both Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester United remain in negotiations for the 19-year-old.
With that in mind, it’s explained Oleg Petrov, the club’s CEO, and Badiashile’s representatives are set to have a meeting next week to discuss what will happen going forward.
#Mercato @telefoot_TF1
