Florentin Pogba, the brother of Manchester United star Paul Pogba, has been speaking to French media outlet Telefoot.
The 26-year-old plays for Ligue 1 club Saint-Etienne, and has been dreaming of a move to the Premier League.
Pogba’s elder brother revealed he had opportunities in the past to sign for a Premier League club, and that he’d like to sign for Arsenal.
He said: “This is the dream I had since I was a kid. I had a few opportunities during the last transfer window but it did not materialise.
“I am waiting, I am patient and I want to continue my good performances with my club that would allow me to go. I love Arsenal.”
The AS Saint-Etienne defender was also asked about Pogba’s return to Manchester United. Florentin explained that Pogba’s slow start is consistent with how the team have been developing, and that both will move forward.
He added: “Paul is the image of the Manchester United team at the moment. They’ve a new coach, new players. They need to find a game plan.
“He starts to perform well slowly and I trust him. After a while, he will bring all what he can do for the team.”
