Paul Pogba is currently with the France national team at the Euros and was central to their win over Germany.
His performance was one that many Manchester United fans aren’t necessarily used to, with the Frenchman often criticised for rarely taking the game by the scruff of the neck when wearing a red shit.
With just one year left on his contract, Pogba is also at the centre of some transfer rumours, recently commenting on his situation and revealing he had yet to seriously sit down with the Red Devils regarding a renewal.
A few big clubs are circling around the midfielder in hope of getting a deal, including Paris Saint-Germain, who somewhat dream of bringing the former Juventus man back to France.
Le Parisien had a big rather wishy-washy article on the matter this morning, but it’s Mohamed Bouhafsi, speaking to RMC Sport and relayed by ParisFans, who had the most information on the Ligue 1 side’s attempts to sign the Manchester United star.
He said: “It’s true that Pogba is being watched by PSG. Nasser [Al-Khelaifi] was in Nice with [Mino] Raiola three days ago, and the two spoke of [Moise] Kean, Bakker living and Pogba. United don’t want to part ways with him, but Pogba doesn’t want to renew. United are asking for €80m”.
That is a problematic situation for Manchester United if true, because they now either have to sell their star man this summer for money or see him leave on a free next year.
