While Le10 remind everyone of their past claims that José Mourinho has made Fred his ‘big priority’ this summer to bolster his midfield, they also explain the Portuguese manager would ideally like another recruit to go alongside him.
However, before that happens, he would need a few current Manchester United players to depart, although who those could be isn’t made clear.
Were that to happen, then Tanguy Ndombélé could ‘quickly become an option’ this summer.
For the time being, the Red Devils are said to be focusing on Fred and getting rid of the current deadwood, meaning it could be one for later on in the summer.
