Bruno Fernandes’ love for Sporting continues to make headlines in the Portuguese media.

The reason the Manchester United midfielder is highlighted today is that he watched the Lions’ game against Portimonense at the weekend.

In an Instagram post, Fernandes has congratulated former teammate Jeremy Mathieu for the beautiful goal he scored.

That’s a reason for newspapers such as Record to point out that despite the move to England, Fernandes hasn’t missed a single Sporting game so far.

A week ago, Bruno Fernandes went to Braga just to see Sporting’s game against the Northern side in the Portuguese Cup. That had been the biggest proof of his support so far.

Record writes that ‘Bruno keeps a strong relationship with the Lions’.

O Jogo does the same, and although West Brom player Matheus Pereira also posted something, the newspaper says Bruno’s support weighs heavier since he’s a former club captain and star.

They just can’t let go of Bruno Fernandes.
