Manchester United player’s relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has ‘cooled’

Compared to the difficulties at Manchester United, the Spanish club are doing just fine, but for Madrid and the media surrounding them it’s a crisis situation.

Eyes are already turning to January, and despite the emergence of Fede Valverde it’s believed a midfielder will be targeted. Marca go through the options, and it’s no surprise that Paul Pogba gets a mention from the newspaper.

His own difficult season is covered, with patchy form and an injury which is taking longer to overcome than had initially been predicted.

Zinedine Zidane continues to want his fellow Frenchman, but there’s no talk of impending talks or a potential offer.

Manchester United remained firm during the summer and Pogba’s potential price has long been a worry for Real Madrid. The club’s president Florentino Perez isn’t entirely convinced the player would suit the squad, and that’s another reason for doubt over a potential transfer.

So, whilst it’s once again claimed the midfielder is a target, and it’s stated his situation at Old Trafford isn’t great, there’s no advance on the matter.
