Reports from the Brazilian media continue to say Andreas Pereira may be leaving Manchester United this transfer window.
On Thursday, it was Esporte Interativo who first claimed that the midfielder ‘is leaving’ Old Trafford due to the few chances he’s been having under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
It was said that the manager even tried to convince the player to stay, but that didn’t work. His agent is reportedly negotiating with clubs from Portugal, Spain and Germany.
Now it’s time for ESPN Brasil to back-up the claims. They say Andreas Pereira would like to play more as a number ten, and that makes him more eager to play in Spain.
Their report isn’t as strong as Esporte Interativo’s. This time it’s only said the midfielder in ‘unsatisfied’ with the few chances he’s getting and ‘thinks’ about asking for a transfer.
ESPN Brasil writes that the Andreas Pereira’s agent Kia Joorabchian doesn’t have any official offer in hand yet. However, due to the player’s wish to leave, something could ‘advance’ in the coming weeks.
Valencia are pointed out as a possible destination. Firstly because they’ve just lost Dani Parejo to Valencia, and, secondly, due to Andreas’ previous loan spell there, the Brazilian would be interested in going back.
