The World Scouting Congress has been held in Portugal in the past couple of days, and the local media is full of quotes coming from the event.

Agents, directors, managers and scouts have all been attending this fourth edition, and there are actually some very interesting things coming out of it.

Something that has caught our attention is the quotes from Sandro Orlandelli, who’s one of the better known scouts at Manchester United.

The official has spoken a little about manager José Mourinho at the congress, and claimed that the Portuguese boss should’ve stayed at Old Trafford for longer.

“José Mourinho spent so little time at Manchester United to do a job worthy of such a big club,” said the Brazilian (via Record).

According to Record, Orlandelli has claimed that the Red Devils need signings for ‘all positions’ and are going through a big restructuring period.

Orlandelli has been presented at the event as an official from Manchester United, so it’s interesting to see him talking so openly about what the club should’ve done. But people are normally more relaxed when speaking their primary language outside of England, so he probably just let go when talking to Portuguese colleagues.
