Every now and again Manchester United links with Andre Silva pop up. Jose Mourinho has scouts sent to many Portuguese matches, and Porto are among the clubs most repeatedly watched.

Therefore, the links have been matched up and it’s been claimed Silva is a Manchester United target. Portuguese newspaper A Bola report that a United official was seen at Porto’s match last night against SC Braga.

The result was 1-1 and it’s a blow to Porto’s title challenge. As for Andre Silva, he had a bad night against Braga, with A Bola rating him as just 3/10.

The 21 year old has scored 15 league goals so far this season, so has been impressive, but it would be a shock if Mourinho signed him for Manchester United. Already having Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial, not to mention Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Wayne Rooney, it wouldn’t seem fitting.

Even more so because Mourinho would be more likely to add experience rather than another young highly rated striker.
