Earlier on Monday, we covered the latest in Italy regarding the future of Sergej Milinković-Savić at Lazio and Manchester United’s reported interest in him.
It came from Il Messaggero, who suggested the Red Devils were ‘lurking’ around the Serbian midfielder, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford more times than we can remember.
Well, Calciomercato in Italy continue where the newspaper left off, corroborating the idea that Milinković-Savić has an agreement with his club to leave in June.
They state that there is an ‘agreement between Mateja Kezman (the player’s agent) and Claudio Lotito’ that he can leave in the summer.
Juventus are also in the race, but they ‘do not have the necessary financial resources to convince’ Lazio, whose asking price for the player is ‘at least €75m’.
As for Manchester United in all this, they are ‘moving with determination’ for Milinković-Savić, after being ‘informed’ of the agreement between club and agent that an exit is planned for the summer.
Is Ralf Rangnick already weaving his web at Old Trafford?
