With Roma flying to face Leicester City in the Europa League this week, Italian outlet Calciomercato today writes about the interest that the midfielder has been drawing in England.
It’s claimed that a couple of Premier League sides should send scouts to see the Italy international in action, and added to their interest, there’s now also a chase from Manchester United for him.
Calciomercato claims that there’s now some ‘monitoring’ from the ‘new and young’ side that Ralf Rangnick is working on building at the club.
Still, there’s no information on how much Manchester United would need to spend on Zaniolo, as the competition for his signing obviously puts his price up.
Calciomercato insists that it’s Juventus who are in pole position to sign the player, as the ‘basis’ for the auction is between €55m and €60m.
Former Manchester United manager José Mourinho is the one who’s expected to have the last word in the midfielder’s future, since the player has a contract with Roma running until 2024.
