It appears that once the Jadon Sancho is over the line, Manchester United are going to turn their attention to Eduardo Camavinga, currently at Stade Rennais in France.

This is what Le Parisien are reporting on Monday, following the player’s decision to let his club know ‘he will not renew his contract beyond 2022’, meaning an exit this summer is almost guaranteed.

This was reported on Friday as well, but Rennes still haven’t received an offer from interested clubs for their starlet.

That, however, is about to change, according to the newspaper, who explain Manchester United are ‘the most insistent’ for Camavinga, and would see his arrival at Old Trafford ‘with a good eye’.

In fact, ‘exchanges with his entourage are constant’ and ‘the Red Devils should make a first offer to Rennes in the next few days, which should be around €30m’.

That is an amount ‘largely below’ what the Ligue 1 club are expecting, even if they do not expect him to leave on a free.

While the €100m request was never formal, ‘it seems unlikely that Manchester United’s offer will be accepted’, as they know Camavinga is in huge demand across Europe, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Real Madrid all talking to his agent, Jonathan Barnett.
