We all know Manchester United loanee Andreas Pereira is living a delicate situation at Flamengo, as despite a deal between the clubs to make his transfer permanent, the Brazilian side may now give up on the purchase due to his recent bad form.

Now his individual scenario can be added to a collective crisis at the club, as they’ve been runner-ups in five consecutive tournaments, making their fans unhappy about it.

On Friday morning, when the players were arriving at training, a big group of fans were protesting at the gates, stopping all the cars that were entering the parking lot. Andreas Pereira was one of them.

The protests weren’t friendly, with some vehicles being damaged, as you can see in the video below. As reported by Jovem Pan’s Thiago Asmar, the Manchester United player was one of those who was the most ‘shaken’ by it.

As reporter Rodrigo Viga joined the conversation, he confirmed that the players who hadn’t been doing well were the most affected by the protests.

He also claimed that according to his information, Flamengo ‘gave up, or are giving up’ on the purchase of Andreas Pereira, and it’s ‘very clear the fans wouldn’t agree with the signing’.

The Brazilian club had an buying option of €20m for the midfielder, and the new agreement with Manchester United allowed them to buy him for only €10m.
