Tottenham Hotspur host Manchester United on Wednesday aiming to boost their hopes of securing a top four place in the Premier League.

Spurs are currently fifth in the table, two points behind Liverpool who travel to face Huddersfield Town on Tuesday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are eight points adrift of second-placed United, but a victory at Wembley would shake up the race for a Champions League spot.

Spurs are priced at 13/10 to win the game, with United on offer at 12/5. The draw is available at 5/2, but check out this Betfair bonus code 2018 offer before wagering on the game.

Pochettino has a number of injury problems to contend with. Danny Rose, Serge Aurier and Harry Winks are all doubts to face United, although Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen could return.

Alexis Sanchez is set to make his Premier League debut for United, but Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Daley Blind are all sidelined.

Ibrahimovic could have played his final game for United, with the Swedish striker being linked with a move to the MLS.

Spurs are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions, but their record against the top teams this season is a major cause for concern.

They beat Liverpool 4-1 at home, but they have lost against both Manchester clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea during the current campaign.

Spurs have won just four of their last 37 meetings with United, although they recorded a victory in the corresponding fixture last term.

Victor Wanyama and Harry Kane were on target in a 2-1 success and Spurs can be backed at 8/1 to match that scoreline on Wednesday.

Kane continues to be Spurs’ main attacking threat having scored 30 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions this season. He is priced at 11/10 to add to his tally against United.

Jose Mourinho’s side head into the game on the back of a five game winning streak. They still trail City by 12 points in the Premier League and anything less than a win against Spurs will surely end their faint title hopes.

United have won each of their last six games at Wembley Stadium, scoring at least twice each time. The Red Devils to win and over 2.5 goals in the match is priced at 4/1 and that could be worth an interest.

Sanchez will undoubtedly be fired up against Spurs, and the former Arsenal forward looks a decent bet at 23/10 to open his account for United.

Spurs’ record against the big teams this season is poor and United look great value at 12/5 to continue their winning run.
