José Arnáiz making his debut for Barcelona’s first selection and scoring a goal has of course led the Catalan press to claim big clubs around Europe want the player.

At 22 years of age, Arnáiz is in the Barcelona B squad, but a goal for Ernesto Valverde’s first team, albeit against Real Murcia in the Copa del Rey, has seen his star rise.

Mundo Deportivo claim Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich have all made contact with the player’s agent Rene Ramos to find about Arnáiz’s ‘contractual situation’.

That’s three very big clubs, and it must be said that Arnáiz is fortunate to all of sudden be of interest to Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Mundo Deportivo say that right now Arnáiz’s buyout clause is €20m and it will become €40m when he makes the full leap to Barcelona’s first team squad from the B selection.

There’s even a suggestion Bayern see him as a potential Franck Ribery replacement, but there’s no lofty relative claims about Man United or Arsenal.
