On Tuesday, an article appeared on ESPN FC regarding Manchester City’s success in seeing off strong competition to sign Mickael Cuisance from Nancy and Dan-Axel Zagadou from Paris Saint-Germain.
Citing sources close to the club, ESPN reported the pair had visited the Etihad Campus, as well as spoken to Pep Guardiola, who convinced both of them to make the move.
This was picked up by numerous outlets, and everyone seemed to be happy with the fact that this was a done deal.
However, late on Wednesday afternoon, TF1 reporter Julien Maynard decided to stir the pot a bit and revealed on Twitter that Paris Saint-Germain’s young defender Dan-Axel Zagadou has in fact not signed a contract with Manchester City.
In fact, he hasn’t even met Pep Guardiola.
Le jeune défenseur du PSG Dan-Axel Zagadou (17 ans) n’a signé aucun contrat avec Man City, et n’a même jamais rencontré Pep Guardiola.

Guess we’ll find out who’s right in the near future, won’t we?
The 17-year-old centre-back has represented France at U16, U17 and U18 level already in his career, but is yet to sign a professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
