Claudio Bravo and Pep Guardiola will make a return to the Camp Nou when both sides meet in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The Chilean goalkeeper left Barcelona this summer in a €18m deal to sign for the Premier League giants.
Bravo won every possible piece of silverware during his two years at Barcelona, and insists he is very happy to return.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper Marca, Bravo said:”I return with tranquility and wanting to play an attractive game. There I did what I had to do and I am very happy to return to a stage that opened the doors of world football.”
The 33-year-old says his start at Manchester City has been ‘dizzying’, and that they’re trying to launch a new way of playing.
He added: “Fast. It’s been dizzying. We have tried to change what was done previously and we are installing a new game idea. I’ve been quite comfortable.”
Bravo also praised his new boss Pep Guardiola, who he thinks is a ‘wonderful person’.
“There are many positive arguments. He is a wonderful person. What’s a highlight is the personal part. And, of course, he certainly has an incredible coaching career”, concluded Bravo.
Bravo signed for Barcelona after his impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup, but left the Camp Nou this summer after the Catalan giants decided to plump for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen as their first choice.
The Chilean international didn’t really have an ideal start to his Manchester City career, but has settled down quite well now.
