Manchester City were one of the clubs who had a scout watching Palmeiras’ youngster Endrick in action on Tuesday morning, according to reports from Brazil.
The winger featured in U-21 Copa São Paulo final against Santos today, and following the exciting performances he already had in the tournament, he now drew European emissaries to the Allianz Parque stadium.
According to ESPN Brasil, Real Madrid and Rennes both followed Manchester City in the mission, and watched another great display from the 15-year-old wonderkid.
Endrick only needed five minutes to open the score, and Palmeiras were crowned champions with a 4-0 win.
ESPN writes there are no offers made for him so far, and he doesn’t even have a professional contract with Palmeiras yet.
It’s said these clubs are just sorting reports about his potential for now.
Manchester City’s interest in Endrick had already been revealed by Wagner Ribeiro, who despite not officially working as an agent due to the player’s young age, has been advising his family.
The race for the wonderkid is only about to grow, as today, journalist Jorge Nicola claimed both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been in touch with his family to speak of a future transfer.
