Sabah report Manchester City have renewed their interest in Fenerbahce youngster Oguz Kaan Guctekin.
In November we covered comments made by Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim, who confirmed Manchester City offered €5m for Oquz Kagan last summer, but this was instantly rejected by the Turkish side. The player has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
The Turkish newspaper report Manchester City scouts have been very impressed with the young midfielder, who has done well when given a chance by manager Aykut Kocaman.
According to Sabah, Manchester City are planning a similar strategy with Oguz Kagan to what they did with another Turkish youngster, Enes Unal.
Manchester City signed the Turkish striker from Bursaspor when he was 17 years old for a fee of €2.5m, and after loan spells with Genk, NAC Breda and FC Twente, they sold him to Spanish side Villarreal for €12m last summer.
The 18 year old midfielder has played 11 games this season for Fenerbahce.
