When Danilo made a post on Instagram after winning the FA Cup for Manchester City last weekend, he probably knew that some words would take the attentiMan City on from the press.

“Time to rest! We’ll see each other in 2019/2020,” said the right-back, who has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A lately.

It took a while for the Italian press to get to it, and today, Calcio Mercato brings a story just to talk about his message.

The website asks if it means he’s really returning to Manchester City for next season, frustrating Inter Milan’s plans to land him in the summer.

Although it’s been reported that Danilo already has a personal agreement to sign for Inter Milan, the Italian media says the Nerazzurri are having a hard time to match Manchester City’s demands for the fullback.

Meanwhile, more and more claims show up saying that the Premier League champions are keen on signing João Cancelo to replace Danilo in the next season.
