Manchester City winger Marlos Moreno is reportedly expected at Portuguese club Portimonense this Sunday.
As reported by newspaper Record, the transfer had a little delay, but the player should finally have his medicals at the club today.
The expectation is that Moreno gets ready to work at Portimonense on Monday, and finally starts his one-year loan spell at the Liga NOS side.
The local press continues to point out that he’ll have the help of his compatriot Jackson Martinez, who’s signing a two-year deal at Portimonense.
Bought by Manchester City from Atletico Nacional back in 2016, Marlos Moreno signed a five-year deal with the Premier League side, tying him to the club until 2021.
The Colombian never played for Pep Guardiola’s side, having loan spells at Deportivo La Coruña, Girona, Flamengo and Santos Laguna.
None of them were very successful and the 22 year old is yet to turn his talent into consistent performances. Perhaps that could happen in Portugal.
